We’ve all heard the stories surrounding the phrase, “surviving high-school”. However, in the case of this school, you be doing so much more in the sense of the phrase: Not only will you be living a lot more than the social turmoil, or the exploding hormone-juices (not semen)… you be living to tell about it. So, pack your bags children! And prepare to embark on the journey through the happiest years of your life!

[ ]Relationship Plots
They help to keep track and plot relationships between characters, and they just look so pretty doing it, too. They aren't required, but they are encouraged. There's even a nifty little request board inside.

[ ]Cellular Phones

The main object of communication today, cell phones are very nifty things to own so it's imaginable as to why people would want them for their characters: Post yours here.

[ ]Internet & E-mail

It's globally popular, the Internet is your fast-communication through e-mail and the IM. Or perhaps you prefer those other websites that allow you to keep in touch like Facebook or Myspace. If only the school didn't block most of the sites, it'd be way easier. Thankfully there's ways around the out-dated blocking programs.

[ ]Main Office

The main office, beyond the check-in counter holds the sub-offices that belong to the principal, vice-principal, and disciplinary principal. As you can imagine each room is rather small and cramped with those large oak desks and shelves filled with books on how to raise children properly or to create a successful school-environment. All of which, one could tell by merely glancing over, haven't been opened since they day they were received (Some even still being within their plastic coverings). There's only room for one chair next to an unpleasant ficus that smell of burning rubber. All-in-all it's a place you don't want to be, whether or not your in trouble.

00
[ ]Counselor's Office
The counselor's office doesn't look all that different from the main office, aside from the fact that there's only two offices and on large sitting area with two large circular table in the center. Placed atop are some magazines for children and various activity sheets under a bucket of crayons. Last time I checked this was a high-school, but the counselor doesn't seem to notice being that he's so old anyone would be a mere infant to him.

00
[ ]Auditorium
The auditorium isn't very large compared to most other schools, but then you can't expect much from this school and it's insanely low budget. Speaking of the budget, you can tell janitorial duties skips over this place seeing as how it only caters to the occasional assembly or school-play. Even then, not everyone cares to attend - They have better things to do then sit in old, tattered seats (most of which broken) and listen to someone trying as hard as they can to be heard over their own echo.

00
[ ]The Curriculums
Naibasho isn't world renown for its classes. They live in infamy for barely managing the core classes such as: Language; Social Studies; Math; Physical Education... and so on. Sure there are various subjects covering more fun stuff such as art or computer classes, but the severe lack of funding has left learning anything from any of the classes futile.

02
[ ]Library
Ah, the library. A sweet breath of fresh mold infested corners, ill-fated books covered with inappropriate doodles; some even lacking complete pages (or in the case of the Encyclopedia added pages). There's only two reasons why anyone would step foot in this place and that's to honestly intend on studying or they're just trying to escape with no other alternative place to go. The librarian lives in one of the tutoring rooms, so this is the only place in the school that students have access to 24/7 because she believes minds need enriching with a good, tattered book, even at 3:52 AM.

00
[ ]Music Room
The music room is a bit more sectioned off from the school for sound-related reasons. Which are very understandable seeing as how no one wants to hear a rusty trombone, broken xylophone or a out-of-tune violin try to be something more than a sad excuse for a school band. Thankfully NBH's excuse for staying out of competitions is reasonable: Lack of funding.

00
[ ]Cafeteria
The cold tiles are moderately buffed to the extent that they hold a dull luster, allowing one to see the scuffs and scratches on its surface. There's a stir amongst the students concerning the quality of the food more than the actual maintenance of the floor and the excessively wobbly tables. Children from other schools may joke about their food breathing, but the students here actually use their's for Biology projects over stages of evolution. It wouldn't be such a big deal, though if this wasn't what they were serving for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

00
[ ]Nurse's Office
Somewhere in the network of hallways lies the small office belonging to the nurse. Doused in various shades of blue intermixed with white this place resembles the hospital itself. Even the curtains look the same, but they may be because they were stolen from the hospital itself. The nurse is a nice woman when she's conscious. Most of the time she's either not in her office or, more likely, napping in the infirmary. It makes it very easy to slip in and raid the medication cabinet filled with various children's tylenols and whatnot. But there's a hefty price for getting caught if you're willing to risk it...

00
[ ]Gymnasium
Needless to say, a crumbling building, much like the rest of the school. To resist repeating excessively, I'll cut things short: The gym, aside from PE classes and the like, is otherwise used for large school events such as dances and so on. The walls have cracks, as well as the beams that hold up the ceiling that occasionally gives way, dropping upon an unsuspecting student or gym teacher.

00
[ ]School Grounds
It's a real wonder who keeps maintenance of these various places. Seeing as how most are terribly unkempt. The grass is overgrown, the sandbox has poop in it and the parking lot has apparently been eroding over the years making it appear like the rocky mountain's offspring.

00
[image]
[ ]Daishi Park
Daishi Park is the town center. This unkempt jungle pays a poor homage to the founder of the town, whose cracked, decapitated statue stands tall in the middle of the park. If he could only see what had become of the town, the poor man would be horrified. The tall grass, encircling the legs of the statue hiding the activities of various types of poisonous insects, is cut only where it meets the depleted sidewalk. And even then it has managed to engulf parts of the sidewalk completely from view. Nonetheless, most events in town are held here and you can still see children running around (along with their parents trying to sneak off and leave them unattended).

00
[ ]Local Market
The market was implemented when the town first sprang from the depths of Hell. You’re more likely to find the food products rotten and the miscellaneous products broken. Youngsters are romping about, bugging the older shopkeepers or tossing around merchandise. Don’t expect to find high-tech gadgets like CD-players and stuff on these stands. However, no one really minds and prefers shopping here than going out of town to buy their groceries, especially when the supply truck for the local grocer breaks down every other week.

00
[ ]The Warehouse
Located near the edge of town, alongside the road leading deeper into nowhere, is a large, decrepit old warehouse. This is the hotspot for local youth and is basically the only place they can escape to rid themselves of perpetual boredom. The authorities just choose to ignore it. Even at night, when music is blasting, the police just can’t be bothered to go shut down the operation. The last thing they want to put up with is the local teens, so it’s better that they are partying outside town instead of rioting in the streets from sheer boredom.

00
[ ]The Shin-Ding Apartments
Two apartment complexes that rival the local Highschool in the number of infestations they've had over the years. Once quarantined due to an air-borne bacteria, the landlord claims its safe to live in. He does, however, suggest you go to a fancy doctor if you find any odd appendages on your body.

00
[ ]The Highland Shop
A small shop near the Local Market, this place is the one to go to if you start getting sick of school food. They've often offered to feed the kids at the school, but its better for the funding to have the convicted criminals whip up the student's meals. Expect to find moody workers, an overly-energetic chef and a suicidal manager here. Still, the miso ramen isn't that bad!

00
[ ]Police Department
Students will notice that this place looks clean, proper and up-to-code, much like the Detention Center back at the local High School. Just like the deceased Principal's baby, this place is kept under close watch by the Lieutenant and Chief officer of the force. Try to duck as often as possible while in here, since the Chief is known to toss objects and people when she is very, very angry.

00
[ ]The Bamboo Theater
An abandoned building, you can still find old movies here and seats that haven't been chewed into by vermin. There is still electricity being routed into the building, so you can, in theory, watch some nice old movies. If you like watching silent films about a Samurai slipping on a banana peel, this is the place for you!
